Positec Technology (China) Co., Ltd. is a Suzhou-based high-technology group founded in 1994 that develops and manufactures power tools, garden equipment and robotic mowers under its own international brands, principally Worx and Kress. It operates more than ten overseas subsidiaries, three R&D centres (Italy, Suzhou and Shanghai) and four manufacturing bases (Suzhou, Zhangjiagang, Kunshan and Vietnam). Worx is the group's premium professional power-tool brand, sold in around 70 countries, and the group reports more than 8,300 cumulative global patent applications.
