The Kyland KIEN7009 is a low-power industrial Ethernet switch with 3 fast Ethernet fiber/RJ45 ports and 6 10/100Base-T(X) copper ports for building fiber rings with a spare uplink port. It supports DT-Ring, DRP/DHP, VLAN and SNMP management with ring recovery times below 20 ms. A fanless metal housing rated IP40 and EMC level 4 approvals make it suitable for wind power, distribution networks, transportation and oil and gas sites.
