The VMC850Q is part of SMTCL's in-house developed Q-series general-purpose vertical machining centres for drilling and milling of general machinery and automotive parts. It provides an 850 x 500 x 540 mm work envelope on a 1000 x 500 mm table with a 10,000 rpm BT40 belt-driven spindle rated 7.5/11 kW and 35.8/70 Nm. Roller guideways, a 24-tool arm-type automatic tool changer with 2.5 s tool change and 48 m/min rapid traverse support high-throughput production.
