Overview

The BYD Seal is a mid-size battery-electric sedan built on BYD's e-Platform 3.0 with an 800-volt electrical architecture and a structural Blade LFP battery. The Extended Range/Design variant pairs an 82.56 kWh pack with a 230 kW rear motor for 570 km of WLTP range, while the AWD Performance version adds a front motor for 390 kW and a 3.8-second 0-100 km/h sprint. It is the model that established BYD in the European D-segment electric sedan market.

Key highlights

  • 82.56 kWh structural Blade LFP battery with up to 570 km WLTP range
